Summer in Greece simply means two things: sea and sun. This combination works wonders for my skin as it looks its best and that means I don’t have to worry about using heavy products. So, I found myself using almost the same products over and over again during the three super-hot summer months.
Wearing a mask in your everyday life and relations won’t make you for sure a likeable person. But if you wear one of these three masks then definitely you’ll be the one with the freshest and cutest face out there. Curious to learn more about them? If so, keep reading.
If you belong to the lucky girls club, during summer you just need your naturally sun-kissed complexion and a few different lip colors to interchange depending your mood. Fair enough. But, if you’re having fair skin like me, then bronzers are god sent and lipsticks are the second most-used product. With that being said, no matter which side you are on, lipsticks in summer are very much loved and it’s the perfect season to play with different colors and textures. Have a look below for my top five recommendations.
Recently, I’ve slightly changed my morning routine. That happened not because of the weather becoming sunnier and warmer but because my skin felt drier than usual (I have mostly combination skin). Also, it looked irritated and until now I’m dealing with some uninvited guests that need some time to make them disappear. So, I’ve started using three new (at least for me) products and I’ve noticed that they helped my complexion look much more even and balanced. Here we go then.
Spring is here for good and summer is around the corner! So that can only mean one thing: skincare, makeup and closet seasonal change. As the weather changes, it becomes ideal for short weekend getaways and I cannot bother bringing with me the usual full of makeup bag. Everything needs to be light and minimal and that is exactly what I did at my first spring/summer mini-trip of the year.
Hourglass is well-known for producing some of the best high-end powders in the market. It’s not just another great marketing trick to attract customers’ attention, they are truly amazing. Everything from blushes to bronzers and highlighters is so fine-melted, almost undetectable on the skin but at the same time leaves your skin looking radiant and healthy. So, although I am not a huge fan of limited edition or seasonal palettes, the minute I saw this one I knew it was the perfect timing to try a bit of everything!
Around this time of the year, I notice that many companies lunch their new palettes. Surprisingly, my instagram feed floods with palettes. Matte, shimmery, palettes for bronzing and contouring or more neutral everyday tones. If I could get my hands on each and every one of them I would be over the moon. Even if it would be impossible to hit pan on all of them. But among all the new launches and the most mesmerizing color combinations out there, there are always some makeup products that you still turn to no matter what. So, let me tell you a bit more about this!
January was mainly about skincare discoveries. After trying and layering different products, I came to the conclusion that less is certainly more. Sticking to certain products that work best for you, will keep your skin balanced and satisfied for quite a long time. Makeup-wise, two products made it till the end of this month and it wasn’t that easy!
I was never a huge fan of using oils as part of my skincare. I was more scared of them as in my early 20’s I suffered from acne and had mainly oily skin so I was more into anything that had a matte or mattifying label on it. Fortunately, during the past years my skin complexion has changed a lot and I’m having more of a combination skin with some dry periods in between. Kiehl’s is one of my favourite skincare brands and I have enjoyed several products but never the serums, so I think it was about time to give them a try and it was all worth it. Continue Reading…
